Can I borrow a book from a different school library?

Answer

Yes! You can do this through the Library Catalog.

When you begin to type the title of the book or your search term, you will see options to search the SJR State Catalog or Statewide Catalog. To borrow something from a different school, select "Statewide Catalog."

Once you have found the item you wish to borrow, click on the title, scroll down on the item's information page and select "UBorrow Request."

A Uborrow Request form will appear. The only thing you need to do is select your pickup location and click "Send Request."

You will get an email letting you know when it has arrived.

*Note: Getting an item from another school may take from a few days to a few weeks to arrive.

The video below will walk you through the steps.
