Is the PDF of an article better than the HTML option?

The PDF and the HTML full-text copies are two versions of the same article. You may want to check with your instructor to see if they have a preference in format if you are required to submit a copy of your sources with your assignment. Otherwise, the choice of which format to use is up to you. 

The HTML copy has been physically added to the database and often includes a live table of contents for easy navigation throughout the document.

The PDF copy is the representation of the article as published. Any graphs, charts, images, and tables will be easily viewable throughout the document.
