How do I find a peer-reviewed article?

Use the peer review filter the database.

Answer

To find peer reviewed articles, you must first be in a database - select one from the A-Z Database list.

Once you have accessed a database, you can start looking for the peer review filter option.

Here is an example: In this EBSCOhost database, the option is prominently displayed on the main search page. Simply click the Peer Reviewed button before starting your search to filter results accordingly.

If you're already on the results page, you can refine your search by locating similar filter options in the menu (typically on the left or right side of the page, depending on the database).

Note: Some databases only include peer-reviewed materials by default, so the filter might not be necessary in those cases.
